Hi there! I am Christina Baptista, RMT. I have been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist in Victoria, British Columbia since 2003.
I acknowledge and honour the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Xwsepsum (Esquimalt), Lekwungen (Songhees), Sc’ianew (Beecher Bay), and the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples represented by the Tsartlip, Pauquachin, Tsawout, Tseycum, and Malahat Nations. It is with respect, gratitude, and compassion that I live, work, and play on these Coast Salish traditional territories, and I humbly thank them for sharing this land.
Since I began my massage therapy practice, I have gained valuable skills and knowledge working with a wide variety of patients in different clinical settings ranging from busy multidiscipline clinics to private, quiet home-based practices. I currently share a beautiful treatment space at the Station Wellness Collective with a diverse group of healthcare practitioners offering acupuncture and herbal medicine, massage therapy, and clinical counseling.
I have over 5 years of combined teaching experience at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) as both a teaching assistant and clinical supervisor.
In addition, I practiced as a DONA-certified birth doula from 2008 to 2015. I gave up labour and delivery support as the unpredictable hours of childbirth were not conducive to my own family’s needs; however, I still enjoy offering pre- and post-natal support to my expecting massage therapy patients.
My current practice focuses on a biopsychosocial approach to whole-person health and wellness, as I provide massage therapy care to a variety of patients while educating them about their bodies and the importance of self-care. I greatly value the rapport and trust that I build with each of my patients as an integral part of establishing an effective therapeutic relationship.
My treatment hours:
Monday
1:30pm-7:00pm
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
8:30am-2:30pm
I look forward to connecting with you!
